A month in Thailand – some sleeping and the first amazing sunset
Jet lag, a year at work and the commotion of the last few days had finally caught up with me and I slept like a baby. Woke up for some food and a bit of swimming and took another sleep session in what was left of the afternoon.
The evening was going to bring an amazing sunset with it and some tourists asked me to take their picture, quietly wondering away after I did, whispering to each other: “wow, I think she’s a photographer” 🙂
I took my own pictures and, as the sunset progressed, it kept changing, morphing into new colours and new shadows. A pair of lovers stopped for a romantic kiss in the direction of my viewfinder.
A stray dog came and sat in my shadow and I am thinking this must be an idyllic place to live.
My other half went to a thai massage, if you think this some relaxing thing, well, it’s not, I can tell you that, but you will feel taller and more limber after they are done with you.
Today’s food was some western eggscheeseburger, which I gobbled up with some bacon and possibly french fries, while the evening meal was spicy salad with prawns. One of those tiny bird’s eye chilli got me again. They burn so hot you feel like putting your head in the sea and drink all of it.
The general feeling of this day was: silent, easy with a scent of relaxing vacation.
In my next episode, how it rains when it rains in Thailand.
