Around Kyoto
I was walking around Kyoto and had just visited Sanjusangendo, was going towards Fushimi Inari and looking at what I can see along the way when this quiet alley draws my attention. Old trees covered in moss were guarding it and at the end there is a unimpressive building on which the crest of shogun Tokugawa can be seen. A lady tells me that I can only enter if I understand Japanese as there is tour inside. Sadly, I don’t speak Japanese but I catch a glimpse of some beautiful artworks on my way out. I’ve seen a lot of beautiful places in Kyoto but this was one of the best, seen, yet unseen.
