A month in Thailand – sweet days and the most beautiful sunset
This particular morning I ate while a storm was unfolding complete with thunder, lightning and a lot of rain.
As sunbathing or swimming were not an option I just put my feet up with a book and enjoyed the weather.
At this point we had a couple more weeks to stay here, enough time to get completely relaxed and get hit the face with the real world once we got back home.
Before sunset, I tried a bit of beach running (not in slow motion, this is not Baywatch) but the air is so humid that you can hardly breathe properly, so my fitness endeavour ended swiftly.
My diary tells me I had a burger and a glass of whiskey this evening, sometimes you feel the need to eat junk, what can I say.
The following day I swam, a lot, I even got muscle soreness from so much swimming. It didn’t rain anymore and the sky is blue with white clouds that resemble cotton candy.
It was a beautiful sunset this particular evening, the most beautiful I have ever seen to this day.
My dinner was a very spicy beef skewer with pineapple that I have throughly enjoyed.
Although I don’t sleep at noon I don’t feel tired anymore, the vacation is agreeing with me, it seems.
